AOL research is focused on operational concepts in which controllers and pilots use integrated air/ground procedures and automation tools to efficiently manage aircraft arriving at a hub airport.

Our currect areas of research include the following projects:

- Dynamic Airspace Configuration (DAC)
- Multi-Sector Planner (MSP)
- Separation Assurance (SA)
- Super-Density Operations (SDO)

Past areas of research include Distributed Air-Ground Traffic Management (DAG-TM), CTAS/FMS and Crew Activity Tracking System (CATS).
