The Flight Deck Display Research Lab kicks off a new three-year annex with Rockwell-Collins.

The Flight Deck Display Research Laboratory hosted a meeting with representatives from Rockwell Collins organizations at Cedar Rapids and Houston to officially kick off a new three-year annex to the NASA-Rockwell Collins Space Act Agreement. This annex supports joint research and development activities focused on predictive weather displays and the Single Pilot Operations work supported by the Concepts and Technology Development Project of the Airspace Program.
Serving the aviation community through world-class research, the FDDRL works to increase the capabilities of the flightdeck crew by expanding their roles and responsibilities with the use of new tools and concepts, to increase airspace capacity and safety.
