The Human Systems Integration Division releases the Cross-System Search Application
(Jan 6, 2020)
The Human-Computer Interaction Group, part of the Human Systems Integration Division at NASA Ames Research Center, has developed a new application, called Cross-System Search, that enables NASA scientists to search across multiple datasets at once, hone results to find the most relevant records, and view data linked to those results.

Cross-System Search is the result of a large user-centered research effort across multiple NASA centers and functional groups supporting human spaceflight. The application leverages existing structured data, allowing users to run a single search and see results and linkages across disparate database tools. For example, Console Operators may not have time to log into each distinct database to see how an issue affects processes upstream, but with Cross-System Search, they only need to run one search to see important connections.
