What the Pilot's Brain Tells the Pilot's Eye  (1999)
Abstract Header
Fixational eye movements during the performance of simple and complex aviation-related tasks were recorded using a head-mounted eye camera. A second head-mounted camera recorded the scene, allowing synchonization with display event and tracking of head movement. Operator behaviors provide insight into the use of display information and short-term memory.
