This study examines the effect of work and rest periods on physiological and psychological ability and safety for maritime pilots licensed by the Board of Pilot Commissioners (BOPC) for the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo, and Suisun. It contains the key deliverables specified in the "Pilot Fatigue Study Request for Proposals (RFP)" issued by the BOPC in 2016.
